Man Found Dead In Naga River

LEGAZPI CITY — An unidentified man was found dead in Naga River in Naga City, Camarines Sur province on Sunday morning, Sept. 18, just a day after the end of the Peafrancia Festival.

Police Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said a resident found the victim floating in the said river in Barangay (village) Mabolo around 7:30 a.m.

The victim was wearing police athletics shorts and had a tattoo on his right chest.

Bongon said they were coordinating with other units to identify the victim who was believed to be a member of the Philippine National Police.
