Emergency crews were called to Beavermead Park around 5 p.m. when a swimmer went missing in Little Lake. The person was located and rushed to hospital.

Police say a man made a call early Sunday to report gunshots in the area of Charlotte Street and Park St. North. Officers determined it was false and found the caller with drugs.

Police say since the Oct. 5 launch, there have been 57 calls for service in which officers were able to discuss the new approach and provide a pamphlet about available services.
