Hundreds of people donning the colours of the rainbow poured onto the streets of downtown Calgary for the annual Calgary Pride Parade on Sunday.

Just after 10 a.m. Sunday, five people in three homes in White Rock, B.C., were told to shelter in place because of a brush fire burning nearby in steep terrain.
