The Manila International Airport Authority on Monday announced that some flights have been canceled due to unfavorable weather condition brought by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoon Hanna.

PAGASA reported Monday morning that Hanna was spotted 265 kilometers northwest of Itbayat in Batanes, with peak winds of 120 km per hour and gusts of up to 150 kph.  

Several local government units have announced a class suspension on September 4 due to the continuous rains caused by habagat and Typhoon Hanna.
