A low-pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) may develop into a tropical depression within 24 hours, PAGASA said.

Typhoon Hanna left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday morning but it will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 remained in effect over Batanes early Monday morning as Typhoon Hanna (international name: Haikui) made landfall in Kaohsiung City in Taiwan, PAGASA said in its bulletin.

Typhoon Hanna maintained its strength while moving over the sea east of Taiwan, the state weather bureau PAGASA said late Saturday evening.

Typhoon Hanna continued to intensify while moving west-northwestward towards the sea east of Taiwan, the state weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday afternoon.

Typhoon Hanna slightly intensifies while accelerating west northwestward towards the sea east of Taiwan, PAGASA said in its 11 a.m. bulletin on Saturday.
