The trough of Super Typhoon Yagi (formerly Enteng) continues to affect parts of Extreme Northern Luzon as the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) brings rains over the rest of Luzon.

State weather bureau PAGASA is keeping an eye on weather systems that may develop into tropical cyclones in the coming days.

Enteng has intensified into a Severe Tropical Storm on Tuesday afternoon, according to the latest weather bulletin from PAGASA. 

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 was raised over two areas in Luzon as Tropical Storm Enteng re-intensified while moving over the West Philippine Sea on Tuesday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

PAGASA raised the orange rainfall warning at 8 a.m. over Zambales on Tuesday morning, and yellow rainfall warning over Bataan and five other areas.

Six areas are placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 as Tropical Storm Enteng continues to move over the West Philippine Sea (WPS) on Tuesday morning.

Tropical Storm Enteng accelerated over Northern Luzon and is now over the West Philippine Sea. Signal No. 2 remains over seven areas, PAGASA said early Tuesday morning.

Enteng located over the Cordilleras with 11 areas under Storm Signal No. 2 while enhanced southwest monsoon or habagat to bring moderate to intense rainfall in other areas of Luzon, PAGASA reported in the latest Tropical Cyclone Bulletin.

Signal No. 2 has been hoisted over 12 areas in Luzon as Tropical Storm Enteng continued to move northwestward and spotted over the Cordillera Administrative Region.

Tropical Storm Enteng on late Monday afternoon moved over Quirino after making landfall in Casiguran, Aurora, the weather bureau PAGASA has said.

Signal No. 2 was raised over nine north and east Luzon areas as Tropical Storm Enteng intensified further, state weather bureau PAGASA said in a Monday afternoon bulletin.

Another tropical cyclone (TC) is seen to develop and enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) next week, state weather bureau PAGASA said in a forecast on Monday.

Signal No. 2 still up in 9 areas as Enteng may make landfall over Isabela, Cagayan

Nine areas in Luzon were placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 as Tropical Storm Enteng slowly turned towards the east of Polillo Islands on Monday morning, PAGASA said.

TCWS No. 2 was raised on Monday morning over seven areas in Luzon as Tropical Storm Enteng (international name: Yagi) was forecast to bring rains and gale-force winds, PAGASA said.

Tropical Cyclone Enteng intensified into a tropical storm late Sunday evening off the coast of Bagamanoc, Catanduanes, according to PAGASA's  11 p.m. bulletin.

Tropical Depression Enteng was expected to strengthen into a tropical storm within the next 12 hours, PAGASA said on Sunday evening.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was raised over 16 areas on Sunday as Tropical Depression Enteng slightly intensified, according to PAGASA's 5 p.m. weather bulletin. 

Tropical Depression Enteng maintained its strength while moving Northwestward on Sunday, according to PAGASA. 

PAGASA issued a red rainfall warning over Eastern Samar, Samar, Biliran, Leyte, and parts of Cebu on Sunday afternoon, warning of serious flooding and landslides in areas susceptible to these hazards.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was raised over 11 areas on Sunday due to Tropical Depression Enteng, according to PAGASA.

Heavy to intense rains are expected over Occidental Mindoro, northern Palawan including Calamian, Cuyo, and Cagayancillo Islands, Antique, and Negros Occidental on Sunday.

PAGASA raised the red rainfall warning at 11 a.m. on Sunday over Eastern Samar, Samar, Biliran, Leyte, and parts of Cebu.

Kanlaon Volcano had 12 volcanic earthquakes in the past 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said on Sunday.
